The Wii is also 3 year old tech at this point. So first off big whoop if you out Wii the Wii. Anyone with the motivation and budget could have done so at this point. Second of all just because you make a better console then the Wii doesn't mean your going to sell that much more than the Wii did. Especially now that motion sensing isn't quite so novel anymore. I would say that motion sensing would be a bare minimum thing for the next generation console. If they wanted a real wow factor they would figure out something new that would be an improvement. Maybe some sort of intelligent matchmaking system that finds you compatible people to play with and bans n00bs.?
