The modern impact of slavery IS modern racism, sir. It's not a comparison to and it's certainly not a dismisal. My anseters WERE slaves and I will never know my past beyond that of a slave ship. This isn't abstract for me, this is my life, the life of my parents and there parents before them. How dare you lecture me because of a two word preface when you admit that my objections are sound.
