The point is, and (IMO) always was how the iPhone was marketed. It's touted as a computer in your pocket that happens to make phone calls, and people expect to have the same freedoms on the iPhone as they do on their PC. Perhaps people don't need to jailbreak, but that won't stop the annoyance of having a computer and not being able to fully control or utilize it.(marketing gripe: PC stands for "Personal Computer" and is a generic term. A Mac is still a PC, but it just happens to be made by Apple)
